Monitor mix panning
« on: October 06, 2017, 09:35:22 AM »
Iím sure Iím being incredibly dim here, but how does one create monitor mixes with panning for stereo in ear monitoring?

I couldnít find a way of doing this without panning the main mix, which I donít want to do.

As long as you have created stereo aux's, you should be able to use the pan control in the aux section of most channel strips.

I just tried it with the Touch 1080 w/pan Mixer, using the Sends On Fader mode and it seems to be functioning properly...

Thanks Brett, what I found was changing the pan on the channel strip just moved the FOH pan, which wasn't reflected in the stereo aux. I was probably doing something wrong, so I'll take another look.

The pans are separate for FOH and Auxes.  If you're moving the FOH, you got the wrong one...

What Joe said!  Each Aux Send has it's own dedicate Pan Pot.
