Pan control on Motormix
« on: December 21, 2016, 02:22:30 AM »

I notice the pan controls are disabled in the Motormix templates with some comment about them being temporarily disabled.  I have re-enabled them in a custom version of a template since I needed to do a bunch of stereo ears, and that was the easiest way to get them panned out.

Is there a reason they were disabled (seemed to work properly) or were they turned off and forgotten?

Hi Joe,

I've seen in several motormixes the pans (or whatever is tied to the rotary encoders) get messed up on occasion.. Often enough to be an issue.  I had once tied them to gains, and that did not turn out well.

For another user, I had noticed that a number of random channels were fully panned to one side.  It happened often enough that I decided to comment it out.

FWIW, I also saw that same issue with sac.
