Someone, Rebuild Motormixes with new electronics.

I think there is a small but real money making opportunity for someone that designs and builds a board to replace all the electronics in a motor mix.  Once the old boards are removed and discarded there would be lots of room and the new board would be rather simple.

The customer would either need to send his Motormix for rebuilding, or buy a kit, and do some trace cutting and some soldering.
There are three boards with switches and LEDs and encoders.  These have no other components except some diodes.  The board with the faders is more complex and I assume the traces to the faders would need to be cut.  5 to each fader.

Between AMP, SAC, and ebay there are a lot of Motormixes out there.

If I had the skills needed I would do it.

That sounds like a ton of work.  Seriously doubt it would be remotely worth it monetarily.  By the time you pay for all that labor might as well buy one of the more expensive options and call it a day.   :)
