Recalling Scenes via MIDI
« on: April 04, 2016, 04:02:44 PM »
Just curious if there is a way to recall specific Scenes via MIDI yet.  I know it has been discussed in the past but I wasn't sure where it currently stood.

Or is it just MIDI control of prev, next and scene recall?

I believe there are commands to recall the 10 scenes used for keyboard shortcuts.  I'll look into the scene number deal.

Ah!  Right...  I forgot about the recall of 10 scenes.  That may well be all I need for an upcoming project.

I'll have to take a stab at creating a controller template that just assigns some generic MIDI CC commands to each of those so I can use various Show Control type software to automate AMP via MIDI.

What would the commands be to recall those 10 scenes?

The FAQ only had information about wdl editing.  And I don't think any of the excels with commands listed ever made it into the new files section.

Actually, this is on my wish list. It would reduce reverse engeneering time considerably. Other such documents would be appreciated as well.
