Sysex File question
« on: October 16, 2015, 07:51:33 PM »

Bob

I'm interested in being able to use the same BCR2000 for both SAC and AMP for now. Is it true that the AMP sysex file can accomodate both? If so, is there a list of which presets are for AMP and which are for SAC and which controller templates are associated with each preset?

Thanks

Hal

Hi Hal,

I wasn't aware of a BCR (32 rotary encoders) template for sac.  The BCF (8 faders) has programs 1-16 for sac (which correspond to midi channels 1-16), and 17-20 I believe are the sac 1-4.

I actually delivered a hack that made the BCR 2000 look like a Mackie board that controlled all the parameters in SAC's wide mixer view.  It actually worked quite well though it is a PITA to set up and run each time you run SAC.
