Must say it's nice to have this forum back. I haven't been able to log in since May.

Hi Jeremy, at the point I posted there had been no updates, at least that I could see, for over a year... hence the question. My specific need was to be able to give musicians a personal monitor mixer they can run on their phone.

This could be done using the web interface but, last time I checked, the necessary permissions were missing so any user attempting to access the mixer page would get the FOH mix by default. Clearly this wasn't something I could use.

I do think this is necessary functionality. Pretty much every digital console out there has an iphone/android app that lets musicians run their own monitor mix. Using a windows device is a non starter for this. Has to work on a phone, so that means Android, iPhone or web app - with the web app being an obvious move.

What sort of news and updates are you looking for?  The GUI  and Host have been updated since Sept8 (OP), mostly bug fixes. There is an auto-discovery feature that seems to work pretty well.

Matt, what sort of "dedicated monitor mixer" are you looking for? A Monitor Mixer wdl? or function?

Just checking in myself. I use AMP every day in my church in five different rooms with varying degrees of volunteer participation.  So far it's been very useful for us.

We are still tuning the code, but it appears we are currently at around 5ms.  There appears to still be some room for improvement.  We had everything ready, but then discovered a bug.  Ironing that out now!

I FULLY endorse the idea of AES67 support. I'm hoping it helps AMP be more compelling by reducing the need for a Dante nic in the host computer. I'd pay a latency penalty, up to, say, 5mS for many applications to have AES67. Dante is fine and all and I'm getting under 3mS latency in AMP using Dante, but for some applications, even IEM, up to 5 or 6 mS is tolerable to save the, nearly $1000 for Dante nic.

Congrats Bob.

Looks like you got the colored scribble strips working on the extender.

Love to have that working here.
