Its been a while now, so thought Id check in and ask if this project has died, or perhaps its just resting.

There has been updates to the GUI application not that long ago so obviously some work is still being done, but not much traffic here to tell us what those are about.

I have not even looked at that in a while.  I suspect not much has happened with regards to that but maybe it's worth checking out.  If memory serves that's actually code that is in the Host, not the GUI since your browser is connecting directly to the Host.

What sort of news and updates are you looking for?  The GUI  and Host have been updated since Sept8 (OP), mostly bug fixes. There is an auto-discovery feature that seems to work pretty well.

Matt, what sort of "dedicated monitor mixer" are you looking for? A Monitor Mixer wdl? or function?

Just checking in myself. I use AMP every day in my church in five different rooms with varying degrees of volunteer participation.  So far it's been very useful for us.

Hi Jeremy, at the point I posted there had been no updates, at least that I could see, for over a year... hence the question. My specific need was to be able to give musicians a personal monitor mixer they can run on their phone.

This could be done using the web interface but, last time I checked, the necessary permissions were missing so any user attempting to access the mixer page would get the FOH mix by default. Clearly this wasn't something I could use.

I do think this is necessary functionality. Pretty much every digital console out there has an iphone/android app that lets musicians run their own monitor mix. Using a windows device is a non starter for this. Has to work on a phone, so that means Android, iPhone or web app - with the web app being an obvious move.

Must say it's nice to have this forum back. I haven't been able to log in since May.

I haven't seen any activity and PMs have been ignored lately so I just assumed the project died.
