Title: X Touch One
Post by: Richard B. Ingraham on August 21, 2018, 02:34:06 PM
Bob,

I'm wondering if the MIDI control surface support allows for a device to control the currently selected channel and only that channel.

The reason I'm asking is because I see the Behringer X Touch one and think it could be useful as a sort of designer's remote surface for AMP.  Just a fader and knob that could change functions for a single selected channel.

I assume it could just a be a modified version of the MIDI template that exists for a BCR unit?  While the BCR might be more practical since it has far more knobs.  It would be nice to have something like the X Touch One so it has the same appearance and feel as one's primary control surface.

Thoughts?

Hi Richard,

I have not seen the X-touch one, but you can have a controller set to a channel
Strip, and thus affect the currently selected channel. The BCR file is a great example of that.

It's an X Touch with a single fader/knob.
